Senior Activities and Events at Bentley Commons at Bedford

Activities

All residents receive a monthly activity calendar outlining all the wonderful daily events we have at Bentley Commons at Bedford.
Each day begins with exercise and stretching classes and the rest of the day, residents are kept active either by ongoing activities or outings to museums, restaurants, shopping, etc.

Every month we have "Special Events" that we invite the community to join us. Please check the Upcoming Events Tab to see a full listing of Upcoming Events.

June 18: Exercise

    2. Join us for our daily exercise program.  Learn some seated chair exercises that help range of motion and also some standing exercises.  These exercise classes allow our residents to work at their own pace while remaining active.

June 19: Eucharistic Service

June 19: Grocery Shopping

    2. Take a trip every Wednesday to one of our local grocery stores, Hannafords, Fresh Market, Harvest Market, or Stop and Shop... These locations change weekly check your calendar to see where we are off to this week!

June 20: Bedford Librarian

    2.  Join us in the parlor area as the librarian from the Bedford Library brings in the latest and greatest books.  Take this time to ask questions about specific genres or get feedback on reading preferences that you may have.

    2. Residents can sign up at the front desk to get their FREE manicure! Space is limited, but our Activity Assistants do a great job of fitting everyone in each month!

    2. Need some new clothes for the warmer weather?  Join us for a trip to Macys!  The bus leaves Bentley Commons at 1:30pm.  

June 22: Evening Movie

    2.  Every Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday.  A new movie will be played in the Bistro so resident's can mingle and enjoy together!

June 23: Catholic Church Service

    2.  Every Sunday you can get on our Bentley bus and take a trip over to the St. Elizabeth Seton Hall for a 10:30 Catholic church service.  Check our calendar for other religious services that we offer for residents.
